Friday has been a little strange

It is a little disorienting to read! And uncomfortable, really, in a ton of different ways.
Anyway. I was looking for something to help me translate volume of plush in garbage bags to linear feet in shelving for display. I am still looking for that translation, but boy did I learn a lot! If anyone knows how to translate one black trash bag size into linear feet to display the plush within the bag, it doesn’t need to be perfect and you don’t have to include all the caveats, really just any kind of guideline at all would be helpful.
Second, A. was quite late to therapy today, because I’ve adopted the general approach that her lateness does not reflect on my character so I can quit having any feelings at all about it. This is soooo much better for me. It doesn’t make her more on time, but I’m happier. She dropped an earbud after lunch, kinda freaked out, wasn’t satisfied with me cleaning it with a wipe (it hit the floor, which honestly is not that dirty, but OCD) so she decided to clean it with water with predictable results. I was really hungry when it happened, so I continued with my lunch and hoped R. would deal with the loud moaning, but he was on his trainer doing an event so he did fuck all, which is 100% on brand for him. They share Avoidance as a Vibe.
I eventually went up, and found out what had happened, and I said I’d order her more and that the current one would likely work once it dried out and she could ask R. for help. But she’s pretty burned out on asking him for help because she couldn’t find him when she needed the battery replaced on her Quip this morning.
None of this makes me at all inclined to help more, but I did order 3 more pairs of earbuds to arrive tomorrow morning. I did not bother to look for more, because even if there is another pair something will eventually happen to it and I might as well rebuild the stash since I hadn’t bought any since December. These are NOT apple products; they are cheap and the only ones she likes and she wears them out because misophonia.
Partway through this whole process, I got really mad at her being completely irrational (I know, not my best moment) and I was working really hard not to make any mouth noises (misophonia) but it is quite difficult to talk and NOT make mouth noises and I sort of snapped. I intentionally made mouth noises. Repeatedly. This was not cool of me, and I do realize that, but the only part I regret was failing to plug my ears because that was some piercing screaming.
I eventually got her settled down and she sat in the chair with the weighted blanket for a while until it started hurting her back. Then I got her some snacks and water and rearranged her room a bit more so she had a table by the chair and it’s been quiet since.
In the meantime, I’m attempting to provide a home for a lot of plush. I’ve gotten my sister to sign off on me doing this at all (permission I should not need, but peace in the house is going to be important). I ran the design idea past KC (friend) while on the phone with her, and she thought it was in principle plausible with the potential to be usable for non-plush in the future, with a caveat on dust. I ran the idea past C (nibling), and C shared the dust caveat, but is only concerned to make sure that the design does not show dust badly.
So I’ve assembled a two slide deck with the problem and the proposed design, set it to “anyone with the link”and am now trying to find a way to calculate just how many linear feet I really need. I’ve got 13-14 X number of shelves (which is probably 5), which I think is enough with the underbed storage? But those bags have 100% got my number and I am terrified.
