Friday is a lot more

walkitoutI dropped A. off. My phone call was canceled due to unexpected dental appointment. My Dutch lesson was also canceled. That left me free to go to Arhaus and order an unholy number of dining chairs. I was kinda hoping they’d be available in more than the four choices on the website, but it’s okay. We really like the one that we’ve all seen in person, so good enough.
When I got home, All the Things were delivered. A battery for A. so she can use her phone in line in the parks without worrying about running the battery down. The waveform LED panel (weirdly, fulfilled by Amazon). Some box for T. R. made “loaf”, which is meatloaf, but with so much oatmeal and veg in it that it’s an entire meal in a slice. I’m very excited about it, but will have to be cautious because bok choy, kohlrabi and turnip went into it, so it might call for some beano or gas-x or something just to deal with the digestive possibilities.
I checked on the Fusion website and made some travel adjustments once I realized what A.’s schedule was like on departure day for a couple of con weekends in the spring. That might be the first time I’ve actually adjusted an amtrak ticket on the website. Very easy!

I did a bunch of laundry.
I wrapped up some more holiday decorations to put away for next year. R. took the tree down (the artificial one — I’d already pulled the skirt out and folded it up, and taken the decorations off a few days ago). I put out a couple lion dancer brick headz.
On the whole, it’s been a relatively calm day, which is nice.
ETA: Dinner with R. at Burton’s Grill followed by a delightful evening zoom. Now off to sleep!
