Sunday sushi and concert
Jun. 14th, 2026 11:00 pmI figured out Still More Missing Pieces for the August (fingers crossed) stay at the new house: towels, bath mats, sheets. My sister is appalled at my cheap microfiber sheets and apparently so is my husband, so I’ve ordered some bamboo sheets and some nice lands end towels. And a bath mat for my sister to try out.
We had sushi again, this time at Sumen in Arlington and it was sooooo good. 10/10 will go ahead. I had Jindori Peach Soju which was yummy. We saw Karla Bonoff and Nina Gerber at the Regent Theatre which is a fabulous venue, comfortable (center front row! Good Job R.!) seats. Obviously a genuinely enjoyable and memorable show.
I also ordered tickets for Morgan St. Jean at the rockwell, and for the Linda Perry documentary at the Regent. Fun things to look forward to!
ETA: Oh, and R. installed the new fan in A.’s room, so the old fan can go to the new house. She says she hates the new fan, but I gotta say it is pretty awesome. Totally silent, moves a ton of air, and I like the light better, too. Not as whimsical as the other fan, but really, really nice.
