I drove A. to school today, thinking surely I could do ONE trip to school without a heavy conversation.
Nope.
First, I couldn’t get my garage door open, so I had to switch to R.’s car. Then, she felt like she had to clean the entire car, and was using her mini pack of wipes to do it. I was like, no way, I only have one of those in the car and you’ll want it later in the day. Use the big pack. I had to pull off onto a side street to get the big pack out, open it (it was unopened after days in her pack) and then hand it to her.
Turns out just leaving the house is a massive anxiety trigger for her. Difficult to blame her really, and good to know. Also, it would have been nice to have this communicated more directly much sooner. But I’ll take what I can get. I got her to school. I got me to my Dutch lesson. That was fun! Yay, fun!
I returned home, and M. came for a visit. After the visit, I started listing the bagged electronics (a nintendo dock and two apple tvs) on FBM. I listed Packits. I listed a coleman cooler. I listed a purse, okay, some of this I directly offered to a frequent flyer. Cooler is supposed to go out today. Woot!
I paid quarterly estimateds, which about gave me a heart attack to do, but that’s okay.
I ordered the three tabletops and paid the 50% deposit. I scheduled a visit with the mover (this is for the first move from here to new house — not really sure if there will be a second move, as we may just sell everything that doesn’t migrate over the remainder of our last year here). I also am working on scheduling a visit to the Fitchberg duplex. We’ll see how that goes.
