Friday: lunch, escape room

walkitoutR. had a 6ish group ride. He went kayaking after.
I had planned to meet I. and have a cup of tea while she ate breakfast. In the event, however, her plans for the next leg of her road trip turned out not to be available so we had a few extra hours together. I was at a bit of a loss for what to do, I had been making alternate plans that evolved into an escape room that I had already booked in Redmond. In the event, I. hung out with us. We walked a bit at Green Lake, but I was still pretty tired from the day before. I did laundry. I. drove me and the kids to the east side and we had lunch at (and two beers at) Eastside Beerworks (she had a red that was good and I had the Georgetown Porter which was tasty). Then she dropped us off for The Lift escape room at Flee, where R. met us. Small, single room, pretty fun altho a little random.
Phone call with C. probably will catch dinner maybe on the 2nd.
B.S. texted asking about whether the Friday zoom was on. We had no further plans for the evening, so we did! That was fun, actually. I mean, it always is, but extra fun because I wasn’t expecting it, and I was already in Seattle and had just seen everyone in the previous few days.
