Wednesday: rain
Jul. 7th, 2021 11:00 pmI got a short walk in but no long walk; the weather was unfavorable.
I continue to reread Ilona Andrews’ Kate Daniels series.
R. dropped T. off at swimming (no babysitter lately as she is packing up to move); I picked him up. R. went mountain biking with his friend from long, long ago, B.T., in Boxborough (that’s not where BT is from — that’s where they rode their bikes).
I had a lovely zoom convo with I. She’s going to be an additional driver for a trip to Yellowstone for someone else’s class at her college; sounds like a ton of fun, albeit there is the getting up to view wildlife at dawn part that is a bit daunting. She’s got her summer plans fully rearranged, which I was delighted to hear; she’s also renting a house with a friend for a week on the Oregon Coast, which sounds delightful.
I did a bunch of vacuuming (ran Eufy upstairs; did it the old skool way downstairs).
I’ve been making my own pizza crust for lunch pizza. I’m using the sourdough; it is very tasty, and continues to get a little better, every day. I estimate that — assuming the trend of daily improvement — about a week from now, I won’t even want to go back to buying flatbreads.
I continue to skip Imperfect Foods due to predicted high temperatures; I haven’t gotten a SunBasket in forever. WM picked up their toters (they did actually collect trash and recycling yesterday).
