walkitoutI ran Eufy upstairs in a couple bathrooms. T. was with the sitter; I had A. We had a pajama day (well, she did).
Almost all the leftovers are gone; I'm going to need to cook again sometime soon. It was still really hot, and rained a ton in the middle of the day, which helped only a little. I found an Amanda Quick I haven't read in a long long time that is available in e-book form (_Deception_ #27: historical, nerdy woman sheltered in some ways, not in others because the aunts who raised her had a same sex relationship which she was aware of; guy looking for treasure to appease his crazy family -- think Wainrights -- drops in hoping to make a deal, falls head over heels for her and inserts himself into her life. Feels like Heyer's Frederica in a lot of ways. Very, very funny at many different points.).
I picked up a bottle of Silvio Carta vermouth and made a manhattan with that and the koval. I'm not sure I got the proportions right. It is a _really_ tasty vermouth, however
