Monday: walks, quiet
Mar. 8th, 2021 07:49 pmIt was a pretty quiet day. I used DocuSign to sign the IEP — that’s nice, not having to deal with the paper copies. All done!
I walked with M.
I did the long walk by myself.
I had multiple indoor runs with A., and an outdoor walk down Prospect to Mass Ave and back. Then we drove out towards West Concord and back.
I did a little cleaning, but mostly I did very little today. I am trying to consciously do as little as possible, and sort of try to reproduce what life used to be like when the kids actually went to school and R. left the house, instead of acting like, wow, everyone is here, thus I am On the Clock. While it is unlikely to be like this forever, I really have to figure out a way to chill out more.
I’m up to bag 20 on the Ninjago City Gardens set. It is really really cute.
I really like the way water tastes in the house now. The whole house filter and additional filters under the kitchen sink and in the master bathroom are really effective. It is a delight. There has been a little bit of an impact on water pressure, but honestly, tradeoff is totally worth it.
ETA: Summer camp news — T.’s summer camp (2 week sleepaway) has gotten the go-ahead, so that’s looking really good. I signed A. up for live virtual, because she realllllly hates wearing a mask. I used most of the remaining credit for a 3 week, half day coding camp. Should be fun, and hopefully not too overwhelming. It does not conflict with travel plans ... because we have few of those as yet. But as a live virtual, it should permit us to travel if we want to.
