Happy New Year!

Today’s activities included bringing some books to the library. R. did that for me. I had cleared a bunch of books my library earlier in the year, to remove some book cases to make room to access the interior of the walls (via access panels or by cutting a hole in the wall) to put in additional insulation. I saved some boxes of books for my sister to look through when she visited; she had taken what she wanted (and a variety of other things) so what was left could go. And it is gone!

R. and T. went skiing again (they went yesterday with T.’s friend S.). Colder today than yesterday.

I broke down and gave up on the idea of going outside to walk. It is just too cold with the kind of reactive cough I still have (not too mention all the ambient smoke). I did a couple miles on the treadmill. I was hoping for three and it may yet happen. Nice, in that it warms me up. It does make me want to eat all day long, which is a bummer.
