Christmas Eve Activities Include: Roast Chickens

We had an early dinner on Christmas Eve with my sister and her family, and my cousins. We had squash soup, kale, rice, two roast chickens, a sweet potato and raisin dish with crisp topping on it, brussel sprouts in the air fryer, salad, cole slaw, and two vegan pies from Whole Foods (pumpkin and apple). R. put a fennel bulb and some yellow potatoes in with the chicken.

I completely forgot to put a pitcher of water and water glasses out. We were all Very Dry later on in the evening and drank pints of water to try to catch up.

We had a bottle of Rioja and a Pinot Grigio. We opened up the Ruffino Pinot Grigio. It was pretty good.
