I hadn't noticed that we were progressing on this again.
I'm not going to link to a lot of dumb coverage that is all over Amazon.com's support for these bills -- Amazon.com has been supporting various forms of this thing for years now. The gigaom piece links to bloomberg and NYT coverage.
I'm trying to figure out if I believe this thing is really going to pass this time. I keep thinking it will, but it hasn't yet, so clearly I'm bad at predicting this.
