I complained about the lack of a switch to turn the openers off. See, this is what happens when we know a how, and forget to think about the what. The openers don't need to be turned off. They have an integrated "lock" feature.

If you are in the market for a garage door opener, and you think you might have children, make sure you get one with this feature. This is extremely cool.
