shoveling the white stuff
Jan. 7th, 2009 11:43 pmYeah, that might be white and cold but I swear there's no way that's snow. It felt like wet cement.
The trees are all pretty, outlined in ice in the diffuse light (I assume there's a moon behind those clouds somewhere). But that driveway, even as manicured as we made it with the snow blower and the shovels and that other thing that we use to break up patches of ice that the shovel is stymied by -- that driveway is treacherous. Hopefully it'll dry out tomorrow. It's down to black, so if we get any sun at all, it should sublimate.
In the meantime, I feel like I've been beaten. No wonder shoveling snow causes heart attacks.
