So, we knew A. was a bit large for her age. She's clearly getting towards the end of fitting into the 0-3 months clothes. We weighed her in a (paper) diaper and clothing (Carter's snap front sleep-and-play, so figure maybe 6 ounces right there): 12 pounds 14 ounces. Probably 12 pounds and an ounce or few if we stripped her naked.

Geez.

I have a bit more of a diastasis than can be ignored, so I got out _Lose Your Mummy Tummy_, the horribly named, but quite useful book to correct it. The cool thing about the midwives out here is they _know_ about this book, whereas the ones in Seattle did not.

And my walking partner has arrived.

If you can do something about the diastasis now, good idea. I never made time for any proper exercises and am not sure there's much that can be done any more (cosmetically, anyway: it wouldn't hurt me in general to have better ab strength, that's for sure).

"Mummy tummy" is certainly horrid, but not quite as bad as "twin skin."
