A. (Dutch instructor and friend) had kids who were unwell, and having JUST gotten over a gastro thing, I’m too chicken to risk it at all. No next week either for other reasons, which is a bummer, but it’s okay. The future is the future.
No phone call with K., because she is also unwell, same way one of the kids was. Fingers crossed everyone has a complete and rapid recovery.
I had a visit but no walk with M., it was in the low 20s.
FF was sparse, because H. is visiting friends in another town, but P. showed up and Priestess and we had nice chats individually and together and R. (husband) joined in for part because P. wanted to talk about companies like AheadComputing, Positron, Tenstorrent and similar. It was an interesting conversation and we all learned things, and this is the first I’d heard of Rapidus. It fills my heart with joy that people are taking baking more seriously these years!
I roasted a chicken. I cooked some rice. I did some laundry.
I’m continuing to explore the idea of future-oriented rumination, which may or may not be the same as “anticipatory anxiety”. Oh, and I got to share my doc-comes-to-you ideas with P. and he had additional insights on the topic of the kinds of things that Physicians Assistants/Medical Assistants bring to a doctor’s appointment.
