Friday involved some driving

walkitoutR. got his shots yesterday. 4! Covid, flu, RSV and TDaP. RSV is a one time only in theory, and the TDaP he presumably won’t need to do again for a while. He was really, really, really wiped out. I drove A. in and had my Dutch lesson, chatted with K. on the way home and through lunch, and then A. texted saying her last class was canceled so she could be picked up 2 hours early (skipping homework cafe). When I saw R. about to go get her, he looked so bad still I asked if he was safe to drive and he said, “I think so”, which sounded suspiciously like not. So back I went.
K. really likes the rug I have in mind for the small-rugs option for the dining room, as does R. I’m really thinking about going that path. OTOH, I’m also slowly acclimating to the price of the same rug as a large rug option, so I don’t really know what I’m going to do. I am also looking at the basement and thinking, why shouldn’t I stage furniture here for the new house. There’s plenty of space. We’ll have to hire movers from her to the new place anyway.
FF was fun.
