Monday begins with an early-ish walk

I walked with M. at 9 and it was already over 80 and very humid. Ugh.
R. has completed his time in the alps (he survived! Yay!) and ridden on a very quiet train and acquired a rental car, so Find My is a really fun little adventure watching him go places. It’s like those scenes in movies where you see the plane or train icon or whatever flying over a stylized map. But personal, and real time.
In theory, someone was going to come pick up a ton of stuff that I listed on FB marketplace. In practice, I don’t think it’s going to happen, because they don’t have a care and public transport options here are poor and honestly this is not worth the uber back and forth (it’s not worth the drive back and forth, but people do it). I dug around to figure out how to turn off visibility of listings on FB marketplace, so I now know how to do that and just need to figure out when the is the right time to do that. I’ve already had to work around some construction limitations, so it’s not appreciably worse presumably. Between A. and I traveling separately from R., and T. doing his own thing, and also construction, the amount and type of activity here resembles what it was when the kids were little and A. was getting early intervention.
Also, seriously zero regrets on swapping the old furnaces and AC for heat pumps. The effectiveness and quiet of the heat pumps for both heating and cooling is absolutely amazing. Also, the insulation that went in along the top of the basement wall means the basement is staying a much more stable temperature.
I went to Stop and Shop to buy a some fruit and veg. I had an extremely large and tasty salad for lunch with a bunch of the results. Yum!
