walkitoutWednesday is launch meeting day, and I really wanted the basement walls cleared (done!) and the attic room emptied (done!) in advance. Given this whole thing was supposed to start back in late Fall, honestly, there’s no excuse for it taking so long to get to it. But whatever. Every deadline slips.
I still need to get artwork off the walls of the path from the front door to the renovation locations, but I am holding off on that to discuss at the launch meeting, because I’d rather not have to store that much art for that long somewhere; if I can stage it, I’d rather. We’ll see! We may also need to move a bookcase or two out of the upstairs hall.
I made a scramble for A. today, and did a mirepoix with the onion, celery and carrot and this was a mistake because the resulting ham and cheese scramble was way too rich. It’s fine; we put some of it away for a snack later.
I made blondies. I walked with M.
I finally started the book group selection.
I identified Habitat for Humanity’s Restore location in Leominster as a place to donate the four drawer steel filing cabinet, if I get no nibbles on FB Marketplace. Someone is picking up the desk lamp in the next half hour to an hour, so that’s something.
ETA: Got a nibble — we’ll see if they show up tomorrow. Someone did come pick up the desk lamp, so that’s something. No zoom with I., but did do family zoom.
