Sunday is a Day of Rest. Sort of.

I went to the grocery store. I did laundry. I took a shower.
So not THAT restful.
I zoomed with I. That was fun, altho she continues to be really distressed. I walked with M., which was nice, and she continues to be really distressed, but is doing a little better with emotional regulation.
What I did not do was read tomorrow’s book club book. Oops. Maybe I’ll delay it a week.
A. got up late, and only had a couple meals. I fed her a scramble using the asparagus and steak from the freezer, along with some onion and a slice of american cheese. She was worried caramelizing the onion would take too long, so I showed her how I speed that process up. And the cheese is a slice, so I showed her how to chop it fine so it is like shredded. I thawed some meat from the freezer and made her a burger for dinner.
I had an omelette and hash for midday, and I had sourdough for breakfast and one of the dinner rolls for dinner along with non-dairy The Tonight Dough. Yummy.
I skipped family zoom because I was talking to I. (we switched to FaceTime, but we’d started late). I talked to T. on the phone later. I had a nice back and forth chat with my cousin B.
I also finished another Michelle Diener Verdant String book and started the last, Enthraller. That series really made this past week highly enjoyable.
