R. and I dropped A. off at school, then drove to Florence. We stopped at Cooper’s for sandwiches and were only a few minutes late for the meeting. The meeting went well. We met S.C. (HVAC) for the first time in person. We’ve been seeing him on zoom for a year or two now, and it’s so hilarious. People say, wow, I met them in person and they were totally different. And so far, every single time I meet someone IRL that I’ve only seen on zoom, I’m like, yep, exactly what I was expecting. It’s particularly hilarious when the handshake (skin feel, musculature, fat deposits and vigorousness) are even a good match to expectations. _I shouldn’t be able to anticipate this!_ So weird. I love humans.

OAC was abbreviated and extended — we rushed through the normal stuff to allow time to go over the mechanicals with HVAC and discuss options. This went really well, and I’m super happy about it. Look, I don’t love how much space the HVAC occupies, but I got a bunch of closet space back and have way more certainty, so, yay!

We picked up A. and returned home. I went to Roche Bros to get ketchup, and while I was there I bought steak fries, onion rings, ice cream and fake ice cream, among other things. Since A. ate the entire steak, I had fries and onions rings for dinner and I am not sad about that at all.

People seemed to really like the carrot cake loaf I brought. _I_ really liked it, too.

I stayed up way too late doing research on a hypothetical future Euro trip. That was fun.
