Monday: discussing windows

walkitoutWe had some really productive discussion of windows. I’m feeling much better, mostly because it’s now a problem someone else is pursuing diligently. It’s very clear (I’ve asked and received an affirmative answer) that basically NO ONE has thought about how window treatments and these windows (or, really, any windows in the house) would interact. The particularly weird operable windows with sill height at 6’3” and 8’3” are no longer operable.
I got further into _Turn Right at Machu Pichu_, and we had book group. It was really a great discussion. MB (yeah, that doesn’t help — in Mayberry, married to DB) went to Machu Pichu with a girlfriend in 1982. My friend A. (whose husband L. recently passed in Mayberry) went in the early 2000s. It was nice to hear their travel stories!
