Wednesday: Salem

walkitoutWe drove out to Salem. We had lunch at Rockafella’s. Flying Sauce was not open, but we did get pictures at Samantha’s statue, which was fun. The food at Rockafella’s is good; the drinks are even better.
We stopped in a variety of shops and bought a little of this and that. It was a fun, low-key outing.
I took A. to therapy. That was mostly us just talking nonstop. I think I’m supposed to try to work with A. doing some very low-key yoga a few times a week to help with calmness. I’m still trying to figure out whether there’s any way to deal with the issues she complained about doing corpse pose. They are valid issues, and I do not feel any joy thinking through how to help her with them, mostly because I’ve been so unsuccessful myself. Taking a look around at what people do that works for them … yeah, no.
We were tentatively thinking dinner after therapy, but there was basically no interest in food at that point, so we just went home. A. got a shower, planned her outfit, had a snack and eventually went to bed. Tomorrow: school!
I watched Monday’s TRMS and did a few odds and ends. Mostly laundry.
