walkitoutSecond connections board game party — this one was easy and tons of fun. I vacuumed, cleaned table cloths, put out napkins, cups, girl scout cookies. And that was about it. I came out to make A. a grilled cheese, and L. delivered pizza and hot dogs. It worked great.
I finally started reading Bonnie Garmus’ _Lessons in Chemistry_. I didn’t much care for the writing style or really anything else about it, and then I got to the rape.
And I’m like, fuck no.
I deleted it from my kindle — not something I would normally do! I’ll still have to host book group tomorrow, but at this point, I’m past suspicious at everything MB recommends for book group. I thought a couple other people had recommended it to me, but maybe it was just the show and the show doesn’t cover. I don’t care. That was a terrible experience. 0/10 Do not recommend.

I’ve got a headache, nothing to do with the book. Possibly due to the whole north station / south station thing.
