Obviously, drones have become a big part of our world and show up in all kinds of unexpected and at times horrifying situations.
OTOH, they are increasingly being used instead of airplanes for agricultural purposes (scouting, spraying, etc.). Neat stuff! I would normally do a link post here, but instead, I’ll just invite my readers to poke around for themselves.
I looked into this because I was listening to an Odd Lots podcast about freight, and towards the end, they were talking about how many airfields / airports there are in the United States. It’s a lot! And mostly for ag planes. I sat there thinking, but I bet you could do what the planes do cheaper and better with drones now. And yes, yes you can. Very exciting!
