Wednesday: first day of school for one kid

A. went to school for 9th grade orientation day. It seems to have gone well. R. had a dentist appointment in the morning. A. had one after school. We went to dinner at Tavern on the Square after they got back. Tasty!

I’m reading _Maybe This Time_ by Jennifer Crusie. I don’t think I have ever read this before and it is super weird. Gabe McKenna — who is a major character in _Fast Women_ is in this one as a background character.

I got a variety of walks: with M., with A., and by myself chatting with Priestess. All were one mile loops.
