In Which We Fly to Dublin

walkitoutWe left for the airport at a little before 4 pm, because it was raining and there was traffic and of course the Sumner Tunnel closure. We arrived at Central Parking in good time for our parking reservation at 5 pm. Three of us (not T, because he was committed to dinner on the plane) had dinner at a long common table at the Bruins Bar. 3 nice ladies of Soroptimists on their way to a convention in Dublin. Fantastic! They will have so much fun.
R. and I had 1924s, a whisky, vermouth, orange bitters, grenadine, lime juice cocktail. Tasty! We had burgers, except I think A. had a chicken sandwich. All good. Nice fries. Would happily return.
Flight left a few minutes late, due to the weather and backlog of flights. We arrived before our scheduled time anyway.
Veg non dairy dinner was rice, curry, broccolini, salad, fruit, sourdough roll. Actually veg non dairy sides, which was NOT the case on our Alaskan flight to Seattle in June. I slept through breakfast. A. was not able to sleep so she stayed up. I finally said just read your book and I gave her a dramamine. Ironically, her seat did not initially lie flat so our seats were switched to a different row. In the event, she found the lie flat intolerable anyway. We also got a bunch of miles added to our accounts. Very nice, Delta!
