walkitoutI got up a little before 8:30 (no alarm). I walked with M. at 9. I did a second walk by myself, then I drove to the main post office and mailed a couple things. Our mailbox is damp from all the rain yesterday. I also stopped at the bank to get cash. No one there, which is great, because what I was doing was complicated enough to take a while. Apparently, TD Bank sells currency not just to account holders, so basically every time they order more currency, it gets wiped out pretty fast, as people are traveling internationally again.
R. made A. breakfast, but he hasn’t really done that much since school let out, so he forgot the apple juice and the bacon, which is fine because it was late enough that a lighter breakfast makes sense as lunch comes up quick. I need to start getting her up earlier, too, because she is making it harder for me to get to sleep early, and there will be trouble later in the summer if she’s running late here and then needs to adjust to an earlier time zone. Seattle was easy, but east bound travel is harder.
I made blondies today. R. went over to a meeting at the house site after playing bridge. He’ll be doing an evening indoor bike ride. I did some laundry and took a shower. I’ve been texting with a cousin we’ll be visiting, trying to coordinate our plans. That seems to be going well, which is nice.
