Friday: We Return Home

walkitoutNo visit today because it is event day.
We got out around 9:30 am without any particular struggle because I went to bed at a reasonable hour. That was still too late for A. She had a headache. She was fine in the morning tho.
We stopped in Portsmouth at Thirsty Moose. It was loud, but they turned it down a little for us. Food was good — veggie wrap was awesome, coleslaw was good, fries were good. Pretzel was good, mustard for it was phenomenal. Lots of adorable shops and also an escape room we could try out; A. and I are going to make a point of coming back together later in the summer. I have a friend in Portsmouth who might be willing to have lunch, especially if there is outdoor dining.
I’m unpacked. Walden and Siena arrived at noon and 8ish. It rained, so that was exciting. Many other packages arrived, because I didn’t know I was doing this trip until almost the day we left on it. Ooops!
Everything’s fine, tho, and laundry is in progress.
