Saturday: Connecticut

walkitoutT. went to martial arts by himself, and then we all went down to Glastonbury CT, where we picked up MIL, drove over to The Beamhouse, had lunch, then dropped her back off and drove home. The visit was pleasant. The Beamhouse is good.
I had a short visit with M., but it was too hot to walk.
I took a 3 hour nap after we got home.
I watched the TRMS that I missed. Last night, I caught up on Alex Wagner. I continue to be wildly unimpressed with the various theories about what happened in the news near the beginning of my trip to Seattle, with the head of the Wagner group and so forth. My current theory is that he basically decided it wasn’t fun any more, his job sucked and he wanted to retire so he figured out a way to shake some more money out and get permission to walk away. Scaring the bejeezus out of his boss did the trick.
I did two one mile loops by myself after it dropped to the mid 70s.
I went to bed at a mostly reasonable hour. I feel like this was an accomplishment.
T.’s ready to go to camp tomorrow; it will be quiet around here!
