I had R. drop me off at my condo on Cap Hill. Priestess and I hung out briefly, then S. picked us up and we went to the Seattle Center. S. got a phenomenal parking spot, and we walked over to look at vendor tables, most but not all of which were set up yet. Asylum Leathers had wonderful thwompers and a purple flogger with rainbow metal rings on the ends. Super cool, but did not want to bring them home through security. Priestess and I had fat sushi rolls (veggie and spicy tuna) called sushi burritos; we split the two for variety and liked both. We got to do some hugs, which was nice, and S. knew some people we ran into.
I bought a Tarot deck (Anima Mundi, not hard to find online), and we got some jewelry. Someone is doing fine chain mail squares as fidgets, and selling them with a chain or a keychain. I got one with a chain (pride rainbow, obviously). I also bought a rainbow fan. Very fun day!
We went up to The Yard Cafe and met my cousin S. and his wife R. Really tasty! I had the veggie fajitas and a peach daily with whisky. On the way in, someone recognized R. (my cousin by marriage) — turned out to be one of her Maple Leaf village “nieces”. She was our server. So delightful! Really great to get to catch up with S and R. I love them so much.
