Sunday: bread and screenshot mystery

walkitoutThe theme for the last 24 hours has been Catching Up. For example, yesterday I tracked down a bunch of theme park photos, not just from the most recent trip, but from earlier trips that I had repeatedly failed to access and indeed, given up on.
Anyway.
T.’s series 3 Watch died, and we couldn’t get it to recover, so he went to the Apple Store and used a bunch of gift cards to buy a new one. There was a bit of a hiccup getting it hooked up to Verizon, but after several phone calls to me, they got it figured out. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of editing a screenshot to FB messenger to Priestess re: upcoming visit to me. That screenshot … vaporized incompletely, and I wasn’t able to redo the work and FB messenger it to _anyone_ thereafter. I eventually calmed down and Apple messengered it / SMS, but I was kinda ticked off. I tried everything I could think of to track it down or make it finally let go its ghost, and ultimately, and predictably, turning the iPad off and on again resolved it. *sigh*
Good news, tho — the proposed tickets work, so that’s taken care of and gives me one more thing to look forward to this year!
Meanwhile, T. had moved on to a jeweler’s, to try to get his grandfather’s watch repaired and a new battery put in (it’s not a valuable watch, but there is some obvious sentiment, clearly, and the repair is not major. The stem fell off, apparently). They’re going to ship it somewhere for a tuneup. We probably could have done this from home, but I don’t mind.
I set up a loaf of sourdough white bread last night and baked it today; the aforementioned confusion distracted me, but the bread seems to have turned out mostly okay.
I’m trying to decide what the next step is, which probably means lunch.
