A. and I went to Carver Hill to pick blueberries. I made an error, in that when I put my trunk in the car after paying for the containers and before going to pick berries, I forgot to take the key fob out of the purse. Ooops. I had to call R. to drive over (fortunately, only about a 10 minute drive) with the other key. Berries are great, and we went first thing in the morning so it wasn’t hot yet.
Then we went over to Oneil and saw the new Minions movie (Rise of Gru). It was very fun! Many laughs. T. was also there with his ESY class, but he was at a showing in a different theater, that started a half hour later.
After the movie, A. and I went over to Tavern on the Square and had lunch.
Once we were home again, I took a nap, and eventually she came down to watch more Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers (we started binging it the night before). T. worked on his packing for camp.
Around 5, I took a quick shower, dressed, and then took T. to Papa Razzi. That was fun. I just had a salad, because lunch was huge and I didn’t even finish it (so I have leftovers!).
A little weird to have a day where I take each kid out separately for a meal alone, but also very nice!
When we got back, M. was visiting, since he’d come into the office which is one town over. Nice to see him! We’d had dinner with their whole family on Sunday.
I walked around 4 with M. I also did the one mile loop a couple times by myself, chatting with my sister.
It was a really great day. No martial arts this month, as the instructor has covid, and was dealing with travel schedules and a lot of other stuff. Which as a practical matter means I don’t have to get up at any particular time for the _entire_ month. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. I do not have the words.
