Sunday: leftovers
Aug. 18th, 2024 05:00 pmI didn’t even bother to go downstairs to get breakfast altho R. did get himself a cup of coffee before he went on his last bike ride in Montreal. Part of that ride included some race track that allowed bikes so he got to ride on very smooth pavement very very fast. Super cool!
I had the bagel I grabbed a day or so ago but didn’t eat. I revived it in the microwave with some water so not a fair trial but it was really good and distinctly different from other bagels I have had. I can see the appeal, even in this not so ideal instance. I also had a banana and some berries.
I had some leftover bits of donuts from Amy’s. Yum. I fed A. the leftover french toast from Amy’s.
I was going to have dinner in, but then I realized I still need to make sure other people have food, so I have a reservation at Moishe’s that we may or may not use. I. is wanting more asian, but I mostly want some protein that A. is willing to eat which has proved surprisingly difficult.
Tomorrow is checkout and Janine’s for brunch. I just want to note that virtually every reservation in Montreal has been through Libro, which I’d never encountered before. Like everything else, it is highly Quebec specific.
