Thursday: Warm! And Warmer!
Feb. 17th, 2022 04:53 pmIt was mid 40s when I got up, and it was around 60 when I walked in the afternoon. Weirdly delightful! Also, somewhat windy, with apparently more of that to come.
Some more undershirts arrived for T. These are to deal with a heat / friction rash he was getting on his chest while riding to and from school on the bike. It is quite amazing how effective this turned out to be. R. and I just wear soft, mostly or entirely cotton t-shirts all the time anyway, but T. likes button downs and some of them are not cotton. But this entirely corrects that issue. We are clearly going to have to have a conversation about frequency of washing the undershirts; he doesn’t feel they need to be washed daily as they do not come in contact with stinky parts. R. and I are like, but it’s underclothes. Of course that needs to be washed frequently. But what do I know! It’s a New Age! All the rules have evolved. Which is fine.
It’s definitely a vacuuming time of year; lots of sand getting tracked into the house.
Also, we had extra meetings this week (zoom and in person) so that compensated for every single regularly schedule call / zoom I have during the week canceling. Sorta weird, but also fine!
