Tuesday: walks, book group
Nov. 30th, 2021 10:32 pmI walked with A. in the arboretum. A. was in the moms zoom during the pandemic, and is a delight to chat with. It was really nice to see her in person.
I walked with M.
I walked to pick up A. (my daughter) and caught up with M. (walking partner, on her way to the library in West Acton to donate some books) and we walked partway together.
Lots of exercise! Yay! It was cold, but clear.
Book group was delayed from yesterday, but we did it today and it was a great conversation, altho many, many, many shades of belling the cat while discussing _The Lemon Tree_ by Sandy Toland.
I did not have a convo with K., because her husband had a cold, found out he was exposed, tested positive, and now she has to get tested, too. Breakthrough, obviously, so hopefully it’ll all be over soon. Lots of breakthrough out there. Oh well!
T. wanted to hole punch his new school ID card so he could belt clip it. I was like, well, let’s see what the other options are. I found an card holder that it would seal into, and that had a loop for his belt clip to attach to. Here’s hoping it does not get lost.
