Friday: plot twists!
Sep. 24th, 2021 01:31 pmI tried to walk with L., but it was raining so we hung out and drank tea.
I tried to walk with M., but, still raining, so we hung out and played on our iPads.
I packed (and for once, I’m not at all concerned with saying this, because only part of the household is going anyway, so the security risks seem pretty minor). Since the trip is super short, and unusually lacking in cooking facilities, packing is very, very simple (altho I still packed for drinks). Inevitably, items ordered recently of an electronic nature all arrived today. Hmph. A little too tight on time to want to switch to a new phone, but the other item . . .
ETA: It took a little longer than expected to drive to LegoLand NY, but we got there, and the Pirate Family Suite is awesome, and the kids had a great time watching the Lego Ninjago movie.
