Sunday: walks, sheets, pants
Aug. 29th, 2021 11:00 pmWe stripped, washed, dried and made beds today.
A. had a zoom call with K. We also went for a walk.
I walked with M.
I did the long walk by myself.
2 more pairs of chinos arrived for T. They are too big, so I’ll need to return them tomorrow.
First day of school tomorrow for A. She is really excited.
I finished reading JAK’s _The Waiting Game_, finally available on kindle. My sister picked up some JAK at a used bookstore for cheap. Out of what she bought, 4 are volumes I don’t have / don’t have the contents of — there are stories in one (Witchcraft) and two books by JAK in one, and a book by JAK and a book by someone else in another. She’s going to read those and then send them along to me. She got me _Fabulous Beast_ that way a few years back. It’s really clear why JAK is delaying on releasing some of these to kindle — they can really be amazingly regressive by current standards. _The Waiting Game_ is really pretty fun, tho! Lots going on that got reworked in many subsequent works.
