Monday: first day of school for one child
Aug. 30th, 2021 12:29 pmR. made A. breakfast and went back to bed. When he got up later, he worked through the process of picking out a door and so forth; we are having our front door replaced.
I got her through the rest of her routine: dressed, food, toothbrushing, packing her lunch and her bag. We forgot masks so we had to turn around and come back. I walked her to where she could see the front entrance and she took off running so I said Bye! Nice to see the crossing guards we know and love again — it’s been a while.
While R. and T. are still at home, they stayed on their respective floors except for meals and coffee, so I’ve had a nice quiet day. I cleared a couple tables and washed tablecloths. Maybe I’ll clean the house at some point.
I walked with M. I pulled the halfway built The Child down and did the 4 bag. I sorted through two brick orders for the Droomvlucht entrance MOC.
I checked in at various newspapers and on Twitter.
I hope I’m lucky enough to get used to this.
