Friday: walks, cleaning, no WM
Jun. 25th, 2021 11:00 pmWM continued with its streak of Not Picking Up the Trash and Recycling. R. agreed to bring it to the transfer station tomorrow before the party, if I agreed to deal with it thereafter; I will call on Tuesday and figure out how to cancel and have the toters picked up.
R. attended Fancy Friday! Actually, all the Rs! The employee of Mars Division of Spacely Sprockets is experiencing a heat wave, and the building AC is turned off before her normal shift ends, so her employer has adjusted shifts earlier for the Duration, enabling her to attend at least one, and possibly several, Fancy Fridays. Very nice! My sister also attended. I asked E. about the Veiled Prophet thing that’s been in the (twitter)(news). I think I learned more about St. Louis in the course of that hour than I have since reading about the booster competition between Chicago and St. Louis in the 19th century.
I finished the Spring Lantern Festival lego, and attached it to Ninjago City Gardens. Not sure what is next; possibly the World Map, but I won’t start that until after the party, and if we start something at the party that is not finished by the end of the day, I’ll wrap that up before starting anything else.
I got a long walk, and a walk with M.
