Thursday: birthday cake!

Many things happened today! The last of the moms’ zoom (probably — I set it up for next Thursday, but it likely will not happen). I got my hair colored and cut. I went with Magma by Blondor, the hot pink, foiled in, and really short on the sides (undercut on one side) and the back (2 on the clippers). Good for hot weather, and lots of fun. I ordered some spray silver glitter, and some Unicorn Snot purple glitter in gel. We’ll see how goofy I can get this.

I walked with M.

I took A. to CVS to buy birthday cards for R. The three of us went to Rapscallion in town and had dinner on the patio. We were planning on inside, but there was patio, and it was high 70s and absolutely delightful with a breeze and no bugs.

I did the long walk while the chocolate cake cooked, and R. took it out to cool. I made chocolate frosting and we had that for his birthday (and mine, since I did not make a cake for my birthday). It was tasty.
