Wednesday: Day of Cancel
Jun. 9th, 2021 08:50 amAround midnight, I heard someone vomiting in the upstairs hall bathroom. Oh dear. The great thing about having kids who are older instead of younger is that there isn’t really anything to clean up. But even in the Before Times, we had to cancel everything after one of these events, for at least 24 hours. Soooo….
Piano lesson has gone virtual.
No baby sitter (but babysitter isn’t sick, so that’s something).
School has been notified, and his inclusion classes had never changed from virtual, so he can still do those AND Wednesdays are half day anyway. Also, teacher didn’t say anything about anyone else being sick, so that’s something.
He says he had grilled cheese for lunch, pizza for dinner and a glass of milk for breakfast. I’m thinking he needs to take a lactaid with the milk again; I think he overshot on the lactose and thus we don’t really have to worry about contagion. OTOH, I could be wrong, so care is called for.
I also canceled my morning walk/visit, because I don’t need to spread this around if I’m wrong about the cause.
