Sunday: walks, zooms

A. zoomed with F., Portal’d w/ K., and we did Family Zoom. In stages. There was some confusion, because last week we delayed zoom to 7 pm, because of our flight, and then of course the flight went through multiple delays and we gave up on it. Apparently there was some confusion about whether that was a one time delay to 7 or in general, and a debate eventually ensued as to what time is preferred. I’m leaning towards making it a half hour at 6:45 to split the difference, especially since the anti-7 because it is too late person showed up pretty close to 8 pm.

I did get beds stripped, washed, and re-made, and I got A. through the shower, which really needed to happen.

I’m reading a book about demographic projections and the economy and while I agree with the underlying thesis (as the ratio of workers to aged folks evolves, there will be an impact on the economy, and this is underappreciated right now), the way they develop the thesis is just terrible in every possible way.

I finished the second of the Dunstal duology (Stars Beyond) and it was quite enjoyable.

I walked with M. I did the long walk by myself.
