Saturday: martial arts, test results
May. 1st, 2021 11:00 pmI got a test on Thursday for covid, hoping to have the latest possible information in time for taking T. to martial arts. I missed — the results came back 20 minutes after our return from martial arts. I sat in the car (he had a test on Monday that came back negative on Tuesday, so he was good to go by the travel rules — I was trying to capture whatever might have happened at the airport on Sunday).
Otherwise, it was a pretty quiet day. I got a walk with M., and a walk by myself. I did a little vacation planning with my sister. Contingency planning with her is always a struggle. I think I need to just up front say, OK, I need your input on the following possible scenarios, so when I actually go to implement, I know your preferences. Turns out she has a policy of We Don’t Get On An Airplane Until We Are All Vaccinated. I did not know this. I am not sure what to do with it, either, because her younger offspring is not eligible yet, and while Pfizer has applied here and in the EU for extension of the EUA or whatever to younger ages, there is no guarantee that will happen soon, or, really, ever.
