Sunday: another mid-70s day
Nov. 8th, 2020 04:36 pmAnother day in the mid 70s; I just put on shorts and called it good. It may be November, but functionally, it is summer time. Altho, you know, weird sunshine hours and angle and lots of leaf raking in the neighborhood.
I walked with M.
I stripped and made beds. T. went for a bike ride with friends.
I have been doing some poking around reading about things that I have been mostly ignoring, and increasingly I realize I should not be ignoring — right wing propaganda vehicles like Qanon, Spanish language social media conspiracy theories that were inadequately identified and tamped down and flagged and replaced with reality-based information. I have been seeing more MLM activity, and apparently that is a pipeline for some of this stuff to travel, which is worrisome.
There is a ton that needs to be done in coming months (years), but I feel like I also need to have a better understanding of some of the alternate layers of information dispersal, so that I make sure they get paid attention to appropriately. You know, like, in time for the midterms.
