The big thing is that news organizations finally decided to acknowledge that Biden/Harris won. Substantially more than half the people who voted in this election are feeling something ranging from relief to ebullience.
Of course, the electoral process being what it is, we will not know about the 4 remaining Senate races for a while (NC too close to call, 2 Georgia going to runoff and AK won’t be known until they start counting the mail-in ballots).
The little things: I took T. to martial arts. A. and I got our flu shots. I dropped my car off to have the winter tires put on and some other things taken care of and I walked with M. Some people still not wearing masks on the sidewalk, but mostly, people are wearing masks on the sidewalk. So am I! Not loving it, but I am, and I know that making this unambiguous will help with compliance and that will help reduce the number of people calling the police to tell them that people are walking around not socially distanced and not wearing masks.
It is a gorgeous, mid 70s day, so I am going to take my daughter for a walk.
