I walked with M.
I had a delightful phone convo with M. (Wife of M, not my walking partner), part of it while playing catch with A.
I packed up.
We drove to Chittenden. The AC is not working at the house, and maintenance has already left for the day (we got in around 5 and asked about the AC about 30 minutes or so later).
We got takeout from the restaurant, because patio was booked until 8 and dining room until 7. T. took off and so we had to track him down (I thought we had the same place as last time, but we had a different one — Campion, vs. Grand Vista), get his order, and then R. had to wait at pickup until it was ready.
It was a very, very frustrating day for me. The kids were cranky after the drive and they would not leave me alone while I unpacked. A. had a tough time settling, and I was trying to figure out a way to get a fitbit charger and tea (I forgot both) via Amazon and failing miserably.
ETA: We did manage to do the whole family zoom at 6 pm, altho our setup was not ideal and the pineapple was only just barely in view. Oh well!
