Tuesday: phone calls, walk, de-dolling

I chatted with J at noon.
I chatted with K in the evening.
Between the two phone calls, after negotiating with A., I went through her room and removed the dolls (Barbie and American Girl and AG style), doll accessories, etc. from her room, with the notable exception of the astronaut AG doll and her accessories — that one stayed. I need to brush the hair out of the Target AG knockoff doll before putting it away. The deal was she was happy to have them out of her room but not ready to get rid of them, so they are all safely stored in the basement. I sorted the dolls separately (Barbie vs AG) so that they can be donated separately if that turns out to be a choice. Before this, I made some space by combining bins of dining / kitchen stuff and decluttering some of those bins. A. was very happy to learn that her bedroom was NOT too small; it just had too much stuff in it. It still has way too much stuff in it, but there is less than there was before.
