Tuesday: much quieter day in the parks
Feb. 18th, 2020 11:00 pmR. and T. went to Universal. We went to Disneyland. Lines seemed long. We had a 10:30 reservation at Oga’s. I had the Jet Juice and tried the blue milk; A. had the cookie that you get with the blue milk. Blue milk is apparently coconut rice milk. Loud, fun — the droid is hysterical. After Oga’s, JJNK and R (Js sister) had their boarding group for Rise of the Resistance, so they all got to ride that.
A. and I got lunch at Galactic Grill, then we headed back to the hotel (this is when we saw K. again). I did laundry. I upgraded A. and I. to a flex pass, since we had used our third day on a three day parkhopper. I did not do T. or R., who had used 2 and 1 days, respectively, at this point in time.
We later caught an Uber (no wait — he was parked in the Residence Inn turnaround) over to Grand Californian and I had a couple manhattans in the Hearthstone Lounge, along with avocado toast. A. had a grilled cheese with fries. T. was dropped off by R. He also had a grilled cheese with fries, and ordered tortilla chips so I had way too much guacamole and a farty night. Oh well! T. left before us, and went out the wrong door of the hotel, went through security and ticketing (using his last day on his parkhopper which he had been told not to do) and entered DCA, figured out he went the wrong way, reversed, went back, and met us at The Void. We all did Damage Control, which was fun. R. picked us up and we were done. Since T. did not tell me what he had done, I did not convert his ticket into a flex pass, and he had no ticket for the next day.
