R. stayed in the hotel for the day; he is feeling really sick. I am feeling pretty sick, too, but not like him. Rather than escort JJNK, SD to the lightsaber build, I handed cash to cover it to J. There was some ensuing confusion later in the day, but I think I convinced them to keep the cash. That is an expensive thing, and the kids loved it, but it was a lot of reach for them and I wanted to do it.

A. and I did Matterhorn, Alice in Wonderland. I got pictures of us at the teacups, and forgot my backpack until we were in line at Pinocchio; the photographer put it aside and we continued on our way back to Pinocchio.

We headed over to lunch early, and did Fortune Red — the first time I have done one of those with Play Disney. Fun!

Lunch was at Blue Bayou, and, as with the last time I did this, I felt like the place is exceptionally rude. They made the allergy thing work out fine, but were a complete pain about letting older kids order plain food off the kids menu. Fine, but then I wind up doing a chef special order ... which is off the kids menu ... for my daughter. I had the pasta with vegetables (a lot of asparagus) and marinara sauce. It was fine.

A. and I took an Uber back to the hotel.

Dinner was at Goofy’s Kitchen. The additional people in the photo are D.’s friend C, her husband M and son J. Unless I got them mixed up. They are really nice — they live in Mission Viejo and D and C have known each other since the early 1980s. We were all so young then. C is a part time cast member and has very entertaining stories about worker’s comp claims. I actually had no alcohol, and basically ate some berries and a tiny amount of salad from the buffet. Really not feeling it today. R. dropped us off and picked us up.
