Saturday: no martial arts, no vics, trip planning

Dojo was closed for the weekend. The friends we want to do the Alice room with are camping, so no Puzzlescape for us this weekend. R. went to Costco, since the grass was already cut and he had already had a long bike ride.

I found another wasp crawling on a window sill. Despair! Followed but debugging (har de har har). The wasps are coming in along the gap between the black granite hearth and the wood floor. You can see dead wasp bodies through the crack. This is the SAME crack that ants came through a couple years ago, that I packed full of borax at the time. While R. taped around the fireplace, he did not tape this crack. So. It is now taped. I have vacuumed. Fingers crossed. ETA: I had this theory that the wasps are maybe eating ants. Possibly even dead ants from the previous exercise in keeping pests out of the house. And YES, wasps eat ants. *sigh* Ecosystems. I do not love all aspects of all of them. I have preferences.

I stripped, cleaned sheets and made beds.

I did some things for a future trip: I figured out how many days of which kinds of tickets to buy and bought them. I listed off other things to look into. I am annoyed about a flight change but not sure what to do about it. I cannot really do anything right now, because the airlines are totally slammed with Dorian related changes.

I realized that I may not have sent a reply to T.'s swim instructor saying yes to the offered time slot, so I did so. Hopefully I did not lose the spot. This is what happens when I go on vacation.

I talked to T.; he does not want to continue gymnastics. I am not too surprised. He has plenty of other activities.

I walked with M. I had a great convo on the phone with K.
